Strathwhillan cottage

A 5 minute walk from the Douglas Hotel and ferry with breathtaking views of Brodick Bay, Goatfell and the Arran hills. We believe the cottage is about 150 years old and was restored and extended in 2009/10.

The cottage was renovated to be suitable for assisted wheelchair access. There’s a bedroom with en-suite wet room with a shower and Doc M WC with fold down support rail. There’s a paddle handle on the basin tap and a support handle in the shower. There are no stairs or steps and a car can be driven up to the ramp.

The cottage sits snugly in the middle of its mature, fenced garden which has areas of lawn and a large terraced area with a table and ample seating. There’s a gas bbq and a lockable outside shed for golf clubs and bikes etc.
There’s parking for 3 cars. Another car could be parked on the drive but would be blocked in by the other cars.

Dogs are welcome, subject to our terms and a £20 charge.

We take weekly bookings from April to November, Christmas and Hogmanay. Our change over day is Sunday.
Our short stay prices are based on a minimum 3 night stay.
